After designing a special athletic shoe for healthcare workers that can withstand 12-hour shifts, Nike has donated 30,000 pairs to hospitals across the United States and 2,500 to hospitals in Europe. The company is also sending more than 100,000 additional apparel items, including compression socks and sportswear kits, as a ‘thank you’ to frontline workers.


Manchester United are funding an initiative that will deliver 60,000 prepared meals for NHS staff across Manchester. The meals will be delivered free-of-charge across four sites in Manchester over the coming weeks as part of the ongoing effort to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic.

Whilst now a campaign this week, there was big news in the world of marketing, as O2 and Virgin Media announced they are to form a merger in a move that will rival the BT network. Watch this space…
